Well, hope everyone had a great blessed Thankgiving, I did.

Humor, comedy, jokes, laughter, all good for the soul. I spoke to a professor who talked about different styles of meditation and the purpose of it. Some is for reflection, some is for enlightenment. But there is also a form of meditation called laughter meditation (for real). It is to reduce or remove stress. Well , for me I know I have never been stressed laughing. In fact, once cannot be mad, laughing. . .

The rooms act as therapy for those of us who weren't laugin when we were caught up in the disease. Nothing was funny at all back then, but now, through sharing, listening and indentifying, we can laugh at some of the most ridiculous events in our lives. Stuff ain't funny when you in the midst of the pain. . but let me recover. . I'mma laugh my azz off. . .and hope you laugh at me with me. . (some of you have. . . thank you!)

For me, I can always find humor in some of my darkest moments in recovery. When I am laughin about it, its usually because I am over it. My gift is making you laugh at your stuff too. . .that's the best form of identification is laughter. . .one on one or in the rooms.

Laughter is the best medicine.

Love,

Les
