THE STORM HAS PASSED

Postby Lea » Wed Dec 10, 2008 6:37 pm

I like when it says "The storm has passed. I've learned a little more about peace. It was inside all the time." It is a wonder when we have had a psychic change by way of a spiritual experience, resulting in a calmness and serenity. To be able to be at peace with everything exactly as it is, not asking for anything to change, that is the greatest example of peace. The BB refers to it as "matching calamity with serenity."
When I divorce myself from the issue, from the people, from the circumstance and I can stand comfortable when all about me is in turmoil, that is the peace in the midst of the storm. Serenity is when we experience that peace when everything is a mess, so linger in that space, embrace the moment because that too shall pass.
Love,
Leslie
