PASS IT ON

Today's meditation talks about "Pass It On." I like to say "Pay It Forward."
I have met Bill Wilson. For real! You have too. . . and so will those drunks getting ready to sober up. . some for good, some just passing through, but they will meet Bill. Shoot, Bill has been in the halls in So. Central, in the ghettos of Europe, in the slums of New York. . .
I would apply this same thought to meeting God. Each of us that come into contact with this program have met God. You say you have not met God face-to-face, but you agree you have met Bill? I say that to say you have met them both thru others. . .(The spirit of God and the spirit of Bill) The great thing that is you can meet God in many forms other than what we were probably taught.
The BB says God is "broad, roomy, and all inclusive." I have found that once I have met God and he is within in me . . I can introduce him to you, and you can introduce him to someone and so on. . . When I share this enlightenment with others, I have heard them tell me thank you for their lives. I like to share with them that they do not owe me for I am no-thing. . but they MUST pay if forward, don't pay me back. Just think if the whole did that, how wonderful it would be. But that IS what we do in the program isn't it? Wanna do right, stay sober? Pay it forward. . . (I have given this movie "Pay it Forward" as a gift to those I have sponsored. It's a must see! The ultimate form of selflessness.)
